*FISHERS, Ind. — *AHEPA Affordable Housing Management Company (AMC) has acquired AHEPA 18 Senior Apartments, a 98-unit affordable senior housing community located in West Palm Beach, Fla., effective April 1, 2022, announced AMC President and CEO Steve Beck. AMC purchased the property from AHEPA 18, Inc., and will continue to manage it.
“We are pleased to expand our ownership portfolio of affordable senior housing communities in Florida,” Beck said. “The property is in a well-positioned location with several conveniences within a five-mile radius, including retail and restaurants, grocery stores, and houses of worship. Our plans for future improvements include pursuing a RAD for PRAC conversion for renovations to ensure a lasting preservation and to continue with providing quality on-site management and supportive services for our residents, enhancing their quality of life.”
AHEPA 18 Senior Apartments will be renamed, AHEPA West PalmBeach. Opened in 1995, it is a three-story building with one-bedroom apartment units and an elevator. Additional amenities include: a community room with TV/cable, a computer room, library, fitness center, and coin-operated laundry room. Support service coordination is offered.

With the AHEPA West Palm Beach acquisition, AMC owns six of the 87 affordable senior housing communities in its nationwide management portfolio. Two of the six are in Florida, AHEPA West Palm Beach and AHEPA North Miami.
AHEPA Senior Apartments communities offer very low-income older adults over the age of 62 residential apartment-home living with voluntary supportive services they may need to continue to live independently as they age. The services may include meal services, case management, transportation assistance, public benefits programs enrollment assistance, fitness and wellness programs, housekeeping assistance, and health services.
