Chairman’s Message

Welcome to AHEPA Senior Living. Our mission has always been to provide high-quality affordable housing for very low-income older adults and persons with disabilities, and to ensure that they receive services to meet their physical and social needs. Through programs offered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and other federal and state assistance programs, very low-income older adults who qualify can afford to live with independence and stability in our comfortable and secure AHEPA Senior Living communities.

The AHEPA National Housing Corporation (ANHC) was founded in 1983 by volunteers who had a vision above and beyond the first ANHC apartment community located in St. Louis, Missouri. Through support of local sponsorship of properties by AHEPA chapters across the United States, ANHC has gained recognition as one of the national leaders for subsidized senior housing developers in the country. Through ANHC’s subsidiary, AHEPA Affordable Management Company (AMC), our onsite property management and supportive services teams provide resident care and services to the highest professional standards. Today, ANHC and AMC have become AHEPA Senior Living (ASL) – a nearly 500-employee nonprofit company.

AHEPA Senior Living added to its portfolio the development of Affordable Assisted Living Facilities (AALFs). These communities partner with the states taking advantage of their Medicaid Waiver Programs. Our AALFs are often compared to high-end private pay assisted living facilities providing first-class services and facilities to those who qualify for needing assisted care.

The vitality of AHEPA Senior Living communities is evident when you see the smile on a resident’s face, a community room full of neighbors engaging in group activities, and our friendly management staff that greets each resident with respect and genuine affection. Our residents tell us how much it means to them to be able to spend their golden years living in our communities, and we take pride in making it possible.

Thank you for visiting the website of AHEPA Senior Living. We want you to feel at home here, just like the thousands of senior residents we serve.

We encourage you to search our website for an AHEPA community in your area. Please feel free to contact one of our property managers to see if you or your loved one is eligible for residency. We’d love to welcome you home.
