Foundations & Partnerships

For more than 40 years, AHEPA Senior Living has connected residents with the people and organizations that help them live well. Today, our partnerships span national health networks, federal housing programs, community service providers, and philanthropic foundations — all united by a shared belief that safe, affordable housing is the foundation of health, dignity, and independence for older adults.

We welcome foundations, corporate partners, and community organizations whose priorities align with affordable senior housing, healthy aging, and economic security for low-income older adults. Whether through program support, capacity investment, or collaborative initiatives, AHEPA Senior Living is committed to being a transparent, accountable, and mission-aligned partner.

Partnership Opportunities

We invite foundations and partners to work with us in three key areas where philanthropic investment can make a measurable difference for low-income seniors:

Program Support

Expand access to health care navigation, food security, mental health support, digital literacy, and social programming for residents. Our Service Coordinators are positioned in every community to implement and scale partner-funded programs effectively and with accountability.

Capital and Renovation Investment

Support renovation and modernization projects that preserve affordability and improve living conditions at aging properties. Philanthropic capital complements HUD funding and can be targeted to specific communities or geographic regions where the need is most acute for:

  • Resident Safety Improvements
  • Energy Efficiency & Cost Reduction
  • Broadband Infrastructure

Pilot and Innovation Programs

Partner with us to design and test new models for supporting healthy aging in affordable housing — from telehealth integration and fall prevention to workforce development and community cohesion. Our 89-community platform offers an unmatched environment for piloting programs at scale.

Government and Federal Partnerships

AHEPA Senior Living is a longstanding partner of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), operating HUD Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly communities since 1980. This 40-year federal partnership is among the strongest credibility signals a nonprofit affordable housing provider can carry.

Our communities are additionally supported through partnerships with state Housing Finance Agencies in multiple states, providing development finance including Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs) and tax-exempt bonds. These relationships reflect AHEPA Senior Living’s demonstrated capacity to manage complex, multi-source funding — a key competency for foundation partners considering investment.

Transparency and Accountability

AHEPA Senior Living is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. [35-1867058]. We undergo an independent annual audit and file Form 990 publicly with the IRS.

Foundations conducting due diligence are welcome to request our most recent Form 990, audited financial statements, and organizational overview. We are committed to full transparency with partners and funders.

A Note About Our Service Provider Relationships

The partnerships listed on this page reflect working relationships that expand access to resources for AHEPA Senior Living residents. While we highlight these organizations because of established working relationships and their quality of service, we do not imply exclusivity or endorsement. Residents and their families are always encouraged to explore service options independently and make decisions based on their individual needs and preferences. No resident is required to use any specific provider. All service arrangements are made directly between the resident and provider, and we recommend verifying credentials, licensing, insurance, and references before engaging any service. AHEPA Senior Living does not guarantee the quality, availability, or suitability of listed services.
