North Miami Residents Rally to Support Venezuela Earthquake Relief

Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela, causing significant loss of life, widespread destruction, tremendous hardship for Venezuelans, the residents of AHEPA Senior Living of North Miami wanted to give back and support those in need.

As South Florida’s Venezuelan community mobilized relief efforts and established donation centers throughout the Miami area, our residents answered the call with an inspiring display of compassion, generosity, and solidarity. Led by the community’s Service Coordinator, residents donated diapers, canned goods, bottled water, blankets, gently used clothing, towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, napkins, and other essential supplies to assist families affected by this unprecedented disaster.

All donations will support Sun.Risas’ earthquake relief efforts through its official fundraiser, conducted in partnership with Miami-based agency Trendy Experience. Working with trusted local partners and volunteers, Sun.Risas is helping deliver critical supplies and assistance to communities most affected by the earthquakes.

We are incredibly proud of our residents for demonstrating the true spirit of community service, reflecting the philanthropic ideals at the heart of AHEPA Senior Living’s mission and spirit of our founders. Their generosity is a reminder that kindness knows no borders and that even small acts of compassion can provide hope during times of great need.
