AHEPA Senior Living celebrated inclusion, accessibility and community at KultureBall 2026 on August 22, an event we proudly supported as the Human Highlight Award Sponsor, honoring individuals for their continued work to create a more inclusive environment across all walks of life!
Chairman & Acting CEO Ike Gulas spoke about our mission and presented KultureCity’s Partner of the Year Award to the CMA Country Music Association, accepted by Mia Jones, Senior Director, Industry Relations Inclusion for CMA.
We were also honored to be recognized at KultureBall as the world’s first senior living organization to achieve sensory certification and accessibility across our communities.
We are especially grateful to KultureCity for honoring the memory of former President & CEO Steve Beck and recognizing his friendship, commitment to our partnership, and vision to create Sensory Inclusive™ senior living communities.
“KultureBall was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when organizations share a commitment to creating communities where everyone feels welcome and included,” Gulas said. “We are proud of our partnership with KultureCity and of the work we are doing together to make our communities more accessible and inclusive for the older adults we serve and their families. It also was especially meaningful to see Steve’s vision and commitment to this partnership remembered.”
