Sandra Dzankovic
Vice President of Operations for Independent Living
Sandra Dzankovic has served as AHEPA Senior Living’s Vice President of Operations for the company’s independent living communities since February 2026.
She also continues to serve as Region II Director, overseeing 18 properties in Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, California, and New Mexico.
Sandra started her career with AHEPA Senior Living in 2014 as a property manager in Ankeny, Iowa. In 2020, she earned promotion to Regional II Director, during which time she coordinated the successful first-ever visit of a HUD secretary to an AHEPA Senior Living community in 2022. In 2023, Sandra earned promotion to Director of Operations.
Before joining AHEPA Senior Living, Sandra served as a CNA in a long-term care facility prior to becoming a director of an Alzheimer’s care unit. She also has managed an independent living facility of a continued care retirement community.
Sandra obtained her degree in Psychology and Social Work from the University of Iowa, with emphasis on Gerontology.
