Karen Hamilton Hired As Senior Accountant

We are incredibly pleased to announce the addition of Karen Hamilton as a Senior Accountant for AHEPA Senior Living.

Karen joins our team as a seasoned accountant. She spent time with us as a temp and liked us so much she agreed to stay! She spent 12 years with Allied Solutions as an accountant and 3 years with RR Donnelly & Sons. She also owned her own business, The Old Tasty Freeze, in Brazil, Indiana for 5 years. Next time you see her, ask what a “fundae” was!

In her spare time, Karen loves to read. Her favorites are the classics like Les Misérables. She started reading at an extremely early age and can speed read. She does not suggest you learn how to do this, since it is something you cannot unlearn and the books just fly by!

Karen is a graduate from Indiana State University, where more times than she can count, her younger son Jacob attended class with her with his crayons and coloring books. Her son Jacob is now 33, he remembers listening to a lot of Lion King and Randy Travis on the road to and from from his mom’s college classes. Her older sone Allen is her daredevil, he climbs trees and rides motorcycles. He even once owned a domesticated fox named Maggie.

In Karen’s role, she will be doing accounting for Hellenic Senior Living. We’re excited to have her working to enhance processes as she is a life-long learner.
