Caleb Cornelius Promoted to Controller

We are incredibly pleased to announce the promotion of Caleb Cornelius from Assistant Controller to Controller for AHEPA Senior Living.

Caleb has been with us a little over a year now, and came on board with more than 25 years of accounting experience that entailed working for both private and nonprofit employers. He worked for four years at the Wesleyan Church Corporation, where he was responsible for all the financial needs of the corporation worldwide. Caleb also spent 10 years at CapinCrouse, a CPA firm specializing in nonprofit organizations. As the Director of Finance, he managed all the financial needs of the partnership. Before joining CapinCrouse, Caleb served for 10 years as the controller of a large national community foundation, where he gained experience in financial reporting, donor-advised fund accounting, budgeting, cash management, system implementation, and process improvement.

Caleb obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He is also a Certified Professional Controller (CPC).

When Caleb is away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kara, and his 21-year-old son. Caleb also enjoys playing board games, reading, traveling, and attending Gen Con.
