Honoring Women Who Lead and Serve Our Communities

Women’s History Month offers an opportunity to recognize the contributions and leadership of women across AHEPA Senior Living’s enterprise.

Across our communities, women play a central role in shaping daily operations and resident experiences. Their leadership and tireless work help create environments where residents feel safe, connected, and supported.

These leaders drive the growth and engagement that define our organization. Whether supporting new and existing communities, enhancing resident programming, or leading outreach initiatives, their dedication to providing peace of mind is essential to who we are.

As the senior living industry continues to evolve, strong leadership remains critical. The women of AHEPA Senior Living are at the forefront of meeting residents’ needs, advancing operational priorities, and helping guide the organization’s future.

Throughout the month, we proudly recognize the women across our communities whose leadership and commitment strengthen both our residents and our mission.

At AHEPA Senior Living, women comprise:

  • Over 75% of our residents
  • Over 90% of our property managers at our independent living communities
  • Five members of our leadership team, including three vice presidents
  • All three regional directors of our independent living team and two directors of our Hellenic Senior Living assisted living team
  • 85% of our service coordinators and all five of our QA managers

We are also proud that eight of the communities we manage are sponsored by local chapters of the Daughters of Penelope, a preeminent international organization of women of Hellenic heritage and philhellenes. These members serve in volunteer leadership roles on their communities’ local housing boards.

From daily operations and service coordination to executive leadership and community sponsorship, women lead at every level of our organization—advancing our mission to provide safe, dignified housing for very low-income seniors.
