Dawn Walker, M.H.A., HFA
Regional Director of Operations for Hellenic Senior Living
Dawn brings more than 25 years of serving seniors of all backgrounds to AHEPA Senior Living as the Regional Director of Operations for ASL’s four Hellenic Senior Living affordable assisted living lifestyle communities since April 2022.
During her career, Dawn led successful openings of communities as their executive director. The first, a flagship university-affiliated continuing care retirement community in West Lafayette, Indiana, with Franciscan Sisters of Chicago. In 2017, she led a team through the successful opening of Tippecanoe County’s first tax credit, Medicaid Waiver affordable assisted living community and stabilized its operations.
Walker also amassed extensive sales and marketing experience and during a nine-year career at three Life Care Services, she managed senior living communities and earned several promotions.
Dawn earned a master’s in Health Care Administration (MHA) from Indiana University.
Her motto is, “Passionate about what we do and passionate about the way we do it!”
Dawn, and her husband, David, have three young adult children, and a dog, Daisy.

As a mission-driven organization with roots in giving back to the community, our focus is on our residents, their families, and the communities in which we live and serve. Since 1996, AHEPA Senior Living has awarded $6.4 million in grant funding. We have contributed to nonprofits that provide service dogs for veterans, services to survivors of domestic violence, and comprehensive vision care support for the blind, visually impaired, disabled, and veteran communities.
